Republican Women of Kerr County

February General Meeting

Meeting:  Friday, February 15, 2019

Location:  Inn of the Hills, 1001 Junction Highay

Time:  11:15 am – 1:00 pm

Keynote Speaker:  Summer Wise

State Republican Executive Committeewoman for Senate District 24

Summer's topic will be the message Republicans can deliver from now to 2020 and

What role the SREC plays in the Republican Party.

Summer lives near Lake Travis, just outside of Austin. She has been active in the Travis County GOP for over a decade, serving on the Resolutions Committee and as an election judge, and advocating for various statewide and local candidates. Currently in her first term on the SREC, Summer serves as secretary of the Advancement Committee and also serves on the Party Organization and Legislative Priorities Committees.

Before starting her family, Summer was a project manager at the Whole Foods Market
corporate office for three years and at Apple Computer for seven years. These days, when not engaged in her role representing Republicans, she enjoys spending time on the lake on her husband Anthony’s fixer-upper sailboat, going on adventures with her two sons, Charles (8), and Orion (6), and equal doses of traveling and staying home.

A 7th Generation native, her roots run deep in Texas soil. The values she and her ancestors hold dear, Life, Liberty, and Property, guide her in her role on the SREC to advocate for the 17 counties of SD24 and for all of Texas.

For questions, please contact Summer at summerwisesd24@gmail.com or (512) 289-8665

This video is a clip that Sharon Weaver created on C Span2 of the question that U. S. Representative Chip Roy asked IFS Chairman Brad Smith immediately after all those "lightning round" questions by U. S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

It only took one question from Congressman Roy to give IFS Chairman Smith what he needed to counter everything that Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez had just done.

Unfortunately, that is not what is being promoted on the internet and social media. Only Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez' questions are being promoted.

Here is the link to the C Span2 video that was created:
