You Can Help RWKC
Become a Charter RPT Grassroots Club
The
RPT is providing an award
program for TFRW Clubs. The more
members of RWKC who join the
Grassroots Club, the higher the
award will be for RWKC.
You can join the
Grassroots Club for only $8.25 a
month per year.
Joining will help our
State Republican Party become
less dependent on large one-time
donations, allow the Party to
reduce its cost of fundraising
from 70% down to 5% and give the
Party a consistent , steady flow
of funds to fight the Democrats
all year long.
It will also put an end
to you getting fundraising calls
and direct mail from the Party.
You
can use
your
credit card to join by signing
up online at
www.GrassrootsClub.com.
Your
card will be charged each month
in the amount of $8.25.
If you sign up online,
please let me know you have
joined so I can include your
name on our list of club
members.
Another way you can
participate is to give me your
check for $99.00 with the
completed form that you can
download from the
RWKC
website at
www.rwkctx.org,
print, complete, and give to me
with your check; or you can get
a form or card from me to
complete to go with your check
and I will bundle and send them
to the RPT.
The
form is available under the
"More" tab above,
"Newsletters/Flyers/Forms".
The level of RWKC recognition
will be based on the percentage
of our club’s final active
membership for 2011.
There are five levels of
achievement and recognition will
range from RWKC being listed on
the RPT website on a special
TFRW Grassroots Club recognition
page as a participant; in the
2012 RPT Convention Program;
special recognition at the RPT
Convention at Fort Worth in
June; and RPT Award Certificates
for RWKC as levels are achieved.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY JOINED THE
GRASSROOTS CLUB, please turn in your
name to me as soon as possible so I
can include you on the list of RWKC
Grassroots Club members. If you have
any questions, please contact me.
I will be happy to answer
your questions or help you get
signed up.
I’ll be available at the
May RWKC Meeting to assist you and
to take your memberships.
Many thanks for your
consideration and participation.
Please see
testimonial below from Kathy Wilke.

Why I Joined the Grassroots
Club
By Kathy Wilke
Not because I
don't have any other good uses for
my $8.25 a month.
Not because I wanted my name
on a list of members.
Not even because I wanted
RWKC to receive an award (although
that's certainly a worthy reason.)
I joined Grassroots Club
because I want Texas to remain under
the leadership of principled
conservative Republicans across the
state and in Austin who will keep
fighting the Obama administration's
overwhelming incursions into our
"state's rights" to determine our
own destiny, and to keep the
Democratic Party -- which wants to
run my life for the government's
benefit, not mine -- at bay.
I moved back
home to Texas to live among a
citizenry that believes in
individual freedoms, liberty,
self-reliance and people helping
people.
My $99.00 a year will go
toward strengthening the defense of
these values.
Oh, and not getting junk mail
or calls from the RPT will be a good
thing.
