Summer lives near Lake Travis, just outside of
Austin. She has been active in the Travis County GOP for over a decade, serving on the
Resolutions Committee and as an election
judge, and advocating for various statewide and
local candidates. Currently in her first term on
the SREC, Summer serves as secretary of the
Advancement Committee and also serves on the
Party Organization and Legislative Priorities
Before starting her family, Summer was a
project manager at the Whole Foods Market
corporate office for three years and at Apple
Computer for seven years. These days, when not
engaged in her role representing Republicans,
she enjoys spending time on the lake on her
husband Anthony’s fixer-upper sailboat, going on
adventures with her two sons, Charles (8), and
Orion (6), and equal doses of traveling and

her in her role on the SREC to advocate for the
17 counties of SD24 and for all of Texas.

so we are all always invited to participate in
the Chamber's activities.

The next class
starts on March 6, from 6pm to 9pm, one night a
week for 12 weeks. Graduation is on May 22.
The free class is designed to give the citizens
of Kerr County with a working knowledge of how
KCSO operates. The classes are taught by
personnel from various divisions of the
Sheriff's Office and the County.

RWKC’s annual Red Ribbon
ceremony was held this year on NOVEMBER 1st,
2019, 4:30 at the National VA Cemetery in Kerrville,
located on Spur 100.
This is an annual event held by
our Club in conjunction with Veterans Day. Everyone
is welcome to attend and help place Red Ribbons at
the gravestones of our veterans. Please support our
efforts by attending and bringing a friend.

Wreaths Across America
America will have its wreath laying ceremony this
year on December 14th, 2019 at 11:00 CST at our local VA
Cemetery. The public is invited to participate
in laying the fresh wreaths. If you would like
