President's Message
Welcome to the Republican Women of Kerr County, part of The Most Powerful Women’s Political Organization in Texas. Established in 1967, the Republican Women of Kerr County held their first meeting on May 26th, at the Taco Hut on Lemos Street. Over the last 59 years, the women of Kerr County have supported Republican elected officials and candidates. Working for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees, the Republican Women of Kerr County continue to promote an informed electorate through political education and fostered loyalty to the Republican Party.
In 2024, the Republican Women of Kerr County helped President-elect Donald J. Trump secure victory, along with Republican candidates up and down the ballots. Volunteering over 10,000 hours, members worked the polls, campaigns, phone banks, texting campaigns, and more to turn out Republicans on Election Day. Thousands of Republicans were registered across Texas, as well as in key battleground states, due to the efforts of our members.
During 2025, members of the Republican Women of Kerr County continued to partner with local non-profits and schools, to better our community. Through projects with Caring for America and Literacy & Education, our members supported victims of sexual assault, attended wreath laying ceremonies, donated books to various organizations, and read to local elementary students to foster a love for reading.
Because of the efforts and success of our members, the Republican Women of Kerr County, its members, and committees, received multiple awards by the National Federation of Republican Women and the Texas Federation of Republican Women.
I invite you to attend our General Meetings and upcoming planned forums to meet Republican candidates. Our General Meetings are held the 3rd Friday of the month at the Inn of the Hills, with lunch beginning at 11:30. These meetings provide a great opportunity to meet Republican candidates on your upcoming ballot. Speak with them on issues you find important and see where they stand, obtain campaign materials, or perhaps volunteer to block walk. While you attend our General Meeting, visit with any number of our Committee Chairwomen, and see how you can volunteer. Some volunteer opportunities are year around, whereas others are one time. We have a spot for you, and your talents are needed to help make our club successful.
Stay up to date with upcoming events by following us on social media (RWofKerrCO). Should you have any questions, please contact me at rwkcpresident@gmail.com. I look forward to seeing you at our next upcoming General Meeting, and thank you for your support of the Republican Women of Kerr County.
